The installation time will depend on the scope of your order, the condition of your door opening, and the levelness of the floor in the door area. Minimum installation time is 4 hours.
The assembly and installation of a garage door is done from inside the garage. The technician will place all necessary parts in the central area of the garage and begin assembly. Therefore, when preparing for installation, you need to move or remove all items from the central part of the garage, and clear all items from the left and right sides against the walls. If you have shelves or racks located near where the horizontal tracks of the garage door will be installed, remove all items from these shelves.
The cost of dismantling the old door and its disposal is included in the cost of installing your door. Our technician will carefully take it apart and remove it for disposal.
The garage door price includes: only the door, installation parts, labor cost, warranty, removal and disposal of the old door, and taxes. The door opener is an additional accessory and is not included in the door price. If you need a garage door opener, decorative elements for the door, a code access system, or a video camera in addition to the door, please let us know and we will be happy to add these to your order.
If it’s a steel door or a steel door with insulation, we can replace the panel. However, it should be noted that door manufacturers change their surface patterns every few years. Often these changes are minor. If a wooden door is damaged, replacing the panel is practically impossible. The sale of new wooden panels has stopped in British Columbia. Custom-making a panel would be very expensive. In such cases, it’s cheaper to replace the old wooden door with a modern one.
